Stephen earned his MBA from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. He is recognized for helping entrepreneurs identify and implement strategic initiatives that improve business value as well as unlocking business value through mergers and divestitures.

He is an experienced consulting and deal transaction veteran having 15 years’ experience in M&A investment banking, business strategy and planning, business valuations, investment value development, financial modelling, negotiations, succession planning, and corporate development. He has been working with Paladin, One to One Corporate Finance since 1999 and is a valued team member and contributor.

Stephen’s industry experience includes oil and gas services (upstream and mid-stream), retail, wholesale distribution, transportation, agriculture manufacturing, health care services, manufacturing, general contracting and construction services, telecommunications, technology, and professional services.

Stephen attended the University of Calgary for his undergraduate degree and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a minor in management.  He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Prior to consulting Stephen was a partner and general manager in a national sporting goods distributor. Passionate skiers will recognize the brands he worked with that include Volkl and Tecnica.
